it was Auburn and the geologists were surprised that it recorded it.

I was at that game, Dachsie. This youtube video doesn't do it justice. The big moment(s) are from 3:39 to 4:28. I was hard of hearing for several days.

This next clip is from the LSU - Florida game in 2007, when it was announced that USC lost and LSU was #1! Needless to say, the Gators couldn't quite get it together for the rest of the game.

Having the fortune of visiting all SEC stadiums, my list of hardest to play at would be:

LSU
Georgia (Much tougher than people give credit)
Alabama
Auburn
Florida (Not as crazy as it used to be)
South Carolina
Arkansas
Tennessee (since their decline, they have dropped significantly)
Miss State
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
Ole Miss

Having never been to A&M, and only hearing/reading, I would say right off the bat, they will rank up there in the top 5.

After the Gators' home field, the Swamp (which as an old timer I still call Florida Field), its Jordan Hare by far.

As for our stadium I have countless friends that when they were in medical or law school and had to study on game days knew when Florida made a big play. Because even from a couple miles away they heard the cheers and watched pictures on their walls and plates on their tables rattle.

There have been about a dozen games at Florida Field where the decibel meter never went below 120.

It's pretty amazing.

An old judge I know put it best, "One of the things you have to do in life if you're a sports fan is see a highly contested game at Florida Field."

1973 my buddy Jeff and I drive to Baton Rouge! We get end zone tickets at the last minute! LSU wins! We get cussed, spit on and have whiskey bottles thrown at us! We get back to back and are fending off 8 or 10 drunk out of their mind tiggers! Finally this bad ass Dude steps up and starts talking s....t. My friend who is. Vietnam vet says to this guys....ok my attorney has advise me to give fair warning when ever I get in a situation like this...I am a retired Navy Seal...during my tenure I took the life of more than 100 men..ten with my bare hands....and buddy I will have no problem adding you to that total. Now, my attorney tells menu have to let you hit the first lick so it is not considered assault. So here's the deal it's gonna take courage to do either but you need to say your sorry or hit me! But, remember this parking lot is not big enough for the tail kicking your fixing to get! The Dude said, hey many I didn't know you were a seal, I am sorry! Want to come have some jambalaya ? Afterwards I said hey Jeff you never told me you were a seal? He said I'm not!! Good Bull in Baton Rouge!!

Been to LSU several times. Loudest was in the 80's when we lost to them. I have also seen them lose day games to us and to Irish. The Tigers were never in the game and the crowd was not a factor. The other time was a Homecoming night game against Kentucky. Big win for the Kats. If the visiting team can get lead, they get quiet. Also kickoff time is huge. The Tigers have a losing record in home breakfast club games. The record is much better for 2:20 kicks, and for 8:00 kickoffs, they are almost unbeatable. There really is something to the Saturday Night at Tiger Stadium stuff.

The loudest game I ever attended was the 85 t.u. game. Nothing comes close. I measure crowd noise in false starts. That night was not good for the Horns O Line.
