Launched by Texas A&M University, each day of the “14 Days of SEC” campaign — which began on June 18 and lasts through July 1 — will be dedicated to an SEC school. Throughout the day, fans and followers of the university’s social media platforms will learn fun facts about the designated school, its history, traditions and more.
Day 13 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of Georgia
Each of Texas A&M's Reveilles are buried in the Zone Plaza outside of Kyle Field, and Georgia's Ugas (the live English bulldogs that act as mascots) are interred in a mausoleum near the main entrance of Sanford Stadium. Gig 'em, Georgia!

Day 12 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of Mississippi ~ Ole Miss
Texas A&M and Ole Miss were both the first public institutions of higher learning in their respective states. Gig 'em, Ole Miss!

Day 11 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of Florida
Aggies wear their Aggie Rings proudly, just as Florida alum wear the Gator Wrap Ring, a class ring that has gone unchanged like the one worn by Texas A&M former students! Give the Gators a Gig 'em!

Day 10 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of Arkansas
The football rivalry between Arkansas and Texas A&M — known as the Southwest Classic — dates back to 1903. Gig 'em, Razorbacks!

Day 9 of 14 Days of SEC: University of Tennessee, Knoxville
You may know that Texas A&M is home to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, but UT Knoxville also has presidential connections. The university holds collections of papers from U.S. presidents Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, and Andrew Johnson.

Day 8 of 14 Days of SEC: Mississippi State University
Not only do Texas A&M and Mississippi State share the colors maroon and white, but Mississippi State students were originally called "Aggies" before becoming Bulldogs. Give a Gig 'em to the Bulldogs!

Day 7 of the 14 Days of SEC: Mizzou
The Memorial Student Center is a living memorial to all Aggies who have given their lives in service to their country, and MU has a similar tradition. People take off their hats and speak quietly while passing through Mizzou's Memorial Union archway as a show of respect for alum who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Gig 'em, Mizzou!

Day 6 of the 14 Days of SEC: Auburn University
Aggies welcome others with a "Howdy!" but Auburn prefers to say "Hey!" Each year, the university hosts "Hey Day," where students, faculty, and staff greet each other with a friendy "Hey!" Howdy, Auburn!

Day 5 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of South Carolina
David F. Houston, president of Texas A&M from 1902-1905, was a South Carolina alum. Also a USC grad: Andy Card, current dean of the Bush School of Government & Public Service. Gig 'em, Gamecocks!

Day 4 of the 14 Days of SEC: LSU
Aggies know Reveille as our mascot, but did you know that the Tigers read Reveille? The Daily Reveille is the name of LSU's student newspaper!
Know any LSU Tigers? Give them a Gig 'em!

Day 3 of the 14 Days of SEC: Vanderbilt University
Every Aggie knows the Aggie Honor Code, but did you know that Vanderbilt has a similar one? Every incoming class signs Vanderbilt's Honor Code,
which then hangs in the campus student center. Gig 'em, Vandy!

Day 2 of the 14 Days of SEC: The University of Alabama
Texas A&M and Alabama football share a legend: Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant led both schools to numerous championships. Give 'Bama a gig 'em!

Day 1 of the 14 Days of SEC: University of Kentucky
The origins of Texas A&M and UK are very similar, right down to the original names of the schools:
UK was first known as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky!
