P1 radio industry jargon for loyal listeners of a station. Years ago they thought it would be funny to use that jargon on the air. It stuck. Now other stations copy that, in addition to other bits that are copied.

Actually stands for "Preference 1" in the radio ratings equivalent of the Nielson ratings (the name escapes me). Means a listener whose primary radio preference is the Ticket.

So yeah, what a few people above said.

I program my presets by where they are on the radio dial, so the actual station I listen to the most is about in the middle of the presets.
