But it's our first SEC game and it's Florida's first trip to Kyle Field.

It's going to be one of the most talked about games of the day, without question.

Maybe ESPN Gameday will show up for that one.

I highly doubt Gameday will be showing up to see two teams that won 7 games each last year that probably won't be ranked

Main thing is for it to be at night. It just HAS to be, and I think NOT having it on CBS increases the chances of that.

We try to play all our Sept games at night; it would be a real shame if this game were played in the afternoon 98 degree humidity.

The way Sherman did things, we'd have A LOT of recruits at that game. I don't know Sumlin's policy on that kind of stuff, but with only 4 conference games, I would think they'd all be like Gold for having recruits come in, especially one this big.

If we have 80 recruits there from Freshman through seniors in HS - and WIN - that could bring in some very big fish.

Good point, but Florida always has a lot of appeal for TV - especially with a brace of Titles in fairly recent times - and they usually have lots of future NFL talent on their roster. That, plus this being our first SEC game ever, with sooooo many people in both Texas and Florida interested in watching the game......dude. Wouldn't surprise me. Depends on what they think they'll do with other games throughout the season, what's likely to be best for ratings, etc. They like to spread it around.

I've been watching all the SEC games on the Ocho, ESPN 8.

Who else is playing that day? I wouldn't be surprised if it is the site of Gameday considering it is likely an ESPN primetime game. Gameday has been to the site of a UF game more then any other school (32 times), but UF hasn't been featured since 2009, so an appearance is probably due.

We just may not want this game televised...just saying.

You should get either ESPN or ESPN 2 for that Game. That is National TV and really better that early down here heat wise. I'd like the 7 O'Clock kick-off before a National Audience. My choice of scores, not prediction would be A&M 34 Florida 28. That's close enough.

Oregon and LSU were both on Gameday THREE TIMES last season?

That's so boring! Still can't believe we didn't get it for the OSU game or the Arky game.

If not for us, then at least for OSU and Arky. Both of those teams should have been on at least ONCE during the season!

Actually, just to clarify, you'll have one game each year that isn't televised, has something to do with 3rd tier rights or something, not really sure. Could be that every conference game is televised and it's an OOC game that isn't.

Maybe ESPN will offer us a deal for an ESPN 12 Channel.

After reading this thread and many others, I understand why A&M has left the Big 12, unfortunately it appears that your problems will follow you and multiply in the SEC.

In the near term, I see no SEC Championships, no BCS appearances and few CBS Game of the Week appearances.

I see fans with lofty expectations without the necessary preparations for growth. I see a sense of entitlement and a bloated opinion of your past accomplishments which are meager. Your recent history post Slocum reads like a terrible Road Map.

I would predict 2 SEC Wins next year, Ole Mrs. and possibly Mizzou. That would get you to 6 and 6. Most years will see the Aggies @ 4-4 in the SEC or 3-5. Yes it will be a very long tough road in which you will have such fond memories of the Good Ole Big 12 and games with Kansas, Iowa State and good ole Baylor.
