I also wonder how much help Sherman is able to provide our players as far as being in contact with NFL coaches and administrators.

Do you know how I know you don't actually follow Aggie football very closely? It's either that or you have a complete lack of respect.

...footwork is below average...

He really locks on and he doesn't progress well...

I'm guessing he will do EXTREMELY well at the combines and workouts.
Do you know how I know you're spouting flip-flopping BS to make it look like you're giving us an unbiased scouting report?

...he comes out of a poor (horrible?) system for NFL QB's.
Do you know how I know you make generalizations that can't possibly be supported by a sample of only 2 starting QBs who have ever come out of Sherman's system? Do you know how I know you don't pay attention to Stephen McGee?

BTW, I'll agree with others and say he'll be drafted, but how high will depend on the rest of the year (Captain Obvious, I know).

He has the size, strength, and accuracy.

Look at McGee. He had intangibles I guess, but he never really really won, and ran the option. He was what? The 4th QB taken that year? Granted it was a 4th round pick, but being able to make all the throws in an NFL system is rare, and an absolute requirement. Jason White won the Heisman and wasn't drafted. Chris Weinke won the Heisman but was a career backup and a 4th round pick I believe.

Matthew Stafford was the number one pick simply because he has an absolute canon. And for that I also think Tannehill gets drafted. The dude has and NFL arm, great release, and when he does drop back, you can tell his balance and lower body helps with his strength.

Look at Aaron Rodgers, he doesn't have huge arms and a huge build like Troy Aikman/Peyton Manning, but he is an overall athlete with great speed. Those lower body fast twitch muscles help guys like that.

My prediction?

He is a second day guy. There aren't going to be any teams that take him as a franchise guy out of the gate, simply because there are only 3 maybe 4 of those a year, and that number might fall really quickly because so many teams are playing their rookies asap. Who are the teams going to draft a franchise QB? Miami? Maybe Washington? Seattle? He will definitely be one of the 4 or 5 guys that teams talk about though.

Iunno. I would love to see Gruden grill Tannehill in his QB analysis stuff, but Tannehill has a slight lisp that just makes me cringe sometimes. I hope he fixes that.

I bet if someone asks him, he probably didn't apply to med school due to his NFL potential. Med students generally take on a tremendous amount of debt and if he goes to the NFL and makes a roster for a couple of years he'll have enough money saved up to give him a decent lifestyle through med school and his residency.

No way he goes late first round... all of those teams are good and have good qbs. Not going to waste a first round pick on a QB. He will be 3rd round.
