Look I am a bama fan, I think the SEC is playing this right and is putting pressure on the big 12 to find out who is in charge. I mean in a conf you cannot have schools making up rules as you go along. If the conf is not against the A/M leaving then you guys are in the SEC. It looks like the big 12 is playing games again. SOrry aggies hang tough, we all knew this was going to happen. JMO

If they were still considering legal action, shouldn't the following statement be in the present tense:
"We were notified yesterday afternoon that at least one Big 12 institution had withdrawn its previous consent and was considering legal action."

wouldn't that be grounds for A&M to sue Baylor, they gave assurance of no lawsuit, now they change their mind? We acted on that assurance, any lawyers? Jorts?
Look the SEC, is waiting on re-confirmation of the letter recieved on the 2nd. I have a feeling A/M is in. Big 12 is a conf, not a single member. So if the conf agreed to A/M leaving then, it is over.
