Not sure if this was posted. Lucci did a great job on the Paul Finebaum show on Sirius Radio Wednesday. He compared A& M ATHLETIC department to the Florida ATHLETIC department and clarified he was not comparing the two football or basketball teams but the universities and the sports departments. He said they are very similar. Finebaum waited until the call was over and laughed and then callers called in saying Billy was nuts to compare FL and A&M and then compared the two football teams. Finebaum, said, "Is that what he said, I quit listening to him. Aggies are dilusional and then went on how we were in for a rude awakening." For a smart man I am not sure how he does not get this. He thinks it is a horrible idea to let A&M in. "They bring nothing." Lucci (or someone) needs to call him back and give the damn facts between the two schools and make him look like an ass.

Finebaum does some great interviews and then he drops the ball with his next guest. He tries to keep everyone fired up. Most of the people that call in have never been to college if you haven't noticed. Many of these people are fanatical traditionists and want no new members to be added. Take it with a grain of salt. He keeps the Alabama and Auburn t-shirts fans fired up and agitated.

Guys, as a UT fan let me be the first to say that Paul Fartbaum is nothing but Alabubba's ***** on retainer. He is a disgrace to the human race. That scumsucking prostitute has his job because of the University of Tennessee mass communication department, but he instead gives Bama BJs every chance he gets. So it's not just the Ags he is bashing - he rips everybody that has the potential to do damage to his beloved crimson sex toys, including Auburn. He is a joke of a human being.

That is Finebaum's *****ch. He'll pick a certain school and try and push the buttons of the fans. He had Arky and USCe fans all in an uproar several months to a year back by saying that they hadn't brought anything to the SEC and didn't deserve to be in. He just does stuff like that to rile up the callers of certain fanbases. It's his thing.

Actually he isn't as big of a Bama supporter as he currently appears. From the time Coach Stallings left Bama to the time Coach Saban took over, he was pretty merciless in his ripping of Bama. Directors Cup is combined.

Capital One Cup is separate...and the men finished 3rd behind Florida and Virginia in that one.

Actually everything we do, athletically or not, except football. We may get a better football team to compete with them, but they will never compete with us on any other scale. Except maybe tree killing.

I remember living in Alabama and calling into Finebaum during the Fran fiasco. Man did they hate A&M back then.

I tried to describe to him and his listeners how A&M was not really a big step down from Bama as they all demanded was the case. He and the rest of the bama callers all joined in laughing at the idea.

I'm honestly surprised everyone is so surprised. He tried his best to put down the 247 host and you guys act like this is something irreparable. He caters to the redneck trailer trash Alabama fans, don't forget it.

Listened to this guy's show for the first time about 2-3 weeks ago, about the time this really started breaking. Good God....I am so much worse for the experience. He wasn't overly brutal, but his disdain for anything A&M is obvious. And the callers....wow. Feel like I needed a shower just LISTENING to the ignorance that came pouring out of my speakers. Needless to say, there won't be a second time. An hour of my life just pissed away, never to return.....

We bring 48 to 72 mil per year to SEC schools when the tv contract is renegotiated..

If you think SEC people are crazy now, wait til we win a few games. I know we are all rah rah SEC rah rah, and I'm pumped as well, but the SEC is THE SINGLE MOST BAT **** CRAZY CONFERENCE around.

If we win at football, look for the fires of hell to rain down from SEC fans.
