Seriously. If you are a follower of College football, you should be pretty up to date with it. One of the top 10 fields with home advantage by any publication you look at.

I am quite aware of USCs stadium, Ohio States, Penn States, ND, Mich, Florida, Tenn, Bama, UGA, LSU all the top fields to play at. It's pretty much common knowledge.

Capacity is 86ish but attendance in the 90s isnt uncommon.

from the link above

quote:
Likely making Kyle Field an even tougher road venue for opponents was the $32.9 million north end zone expansion, which was completed in 1999. The formation of the Bernard C. Richardson Zone raised the capacity of Kyle Field to 82,600, making it the largest football stadium in the state of Texas. The Zone also brings the fans in the north end zone 65 feet closer to the action on the field of play.

The Zone opened at full capacity for the first time for the annual Texas A&M-Texas grudge match in 1999 and a state-record football crowd of 86,128 watched the Aggies tally a hard-fought 20-16 victory over the archrival Longhorns.

With bleachers in the south end zone, track seating, and standing-room-only in the student section is how we pulled off 91,000 for Nebraska 2010.

Kyle is amazing!! i respect many of the SEC stadiums and their atmospheres. For the most part they are excellent. However I might go out on a limb and say that Kyle is in the top 2 stadiums in atmosphere in the SEC. Granted I am bias and havnt been to many of the SEC stadiums. But going off of many publications and testimonials, including that of Kirk Herbstreit who has said that A&M has "The best student section" in college football as well as proclaimed that "Theres no better place to play" than Kyle Field. That comes from a well versed travler of College football statiums.

I think Florida field, Jordan Hare, Bryant Denny, Neyland, Sanford are all top ten atmospheres.

I think night games at tiger stadium might be, atleast from my perspective, the best current atmosphere in the SEC. I think at its' best Kyle is on par with Tiger Stadium night games if not better.

I dont feel the need to defend Kyle Field to SEC stadiums. I will let the people who watch football professionally do that for me. This video says it all.

Are you serious? I'm an Auburn grad with a brother at LSU and proud Aggie parents. I've been to every SEC school stadium multiple times and grew up in Texas and SEC country. I know my damn football stadiums.
LSU is the loudest place I've ever been.
Neyland is impressive in size, but not the most imposing to play--
Swamp is tough, it's like a coliseum, but I give Bryant-Denny the edge.
Love my Jordan Hare also, great atmosphere.
Starkville is annoying as hell with those damn cowbells.
Kyle Field is the most unbelievable football experience I've ever had. You don't know what 30,000 students at the 50 yard line yelling and standing for the entire game is like until you're there.

So watch your mouth.
