Anyone want to contact Mr. Mark D. Patrick of Schertz and let him know what a ***** he is?
Good riddance, Ags!
Re: “Aggies to SEC likely when, not if” (Sports, Aug. 11, by Brent Zwerneman):
Very interesting — the sooner the better. Texas A&M will end up like the Arkansas Razorbacks, who after leaving the Southwest Conference and heading to the greener SEC pastures found the grass wasn't greener there.
As it stands now, the Aggies are able to compete with UT and Oklahoma, the big boys of the Big 12, only every five or six years. When they get to the SEC, they'll realize they'll never be better than middle of the pack.
With them gone we won't have to hear the whining about why did UT get a TV network and we didn't. It is time for them to pull up their big-boy britches and head on down the road.
To all you Aggies, goodbye and good riddance, hopefully real soon. Don't let the door hit your backside on your way out.
Mark D. Patrick,
Schertz
