Who would you say is the most hated university in Texas?

I'd say tu, followed by us.

If you asked all D1 Texas schools to list the 3 schools they hate the most, tu would make everyone's list (even the schools like SWT and UNT who don't play them often) while we would make all the SWC schools list (number one in a few cases like sand tard and bible tard).

I'd say us followed by tech then Baylor then tu , so many tu tshirt fans at other small universities including Baylor

A&M

tu is like the Dallas Cowboys. Most loved AND hated

A&M by far.

I would say Tech and Baylor hope to Beat Texas in every sport but they HATE to lose to A&M.

Tech and Baylor seem to be fine letting the sips be the Flagship of Texas but they can't stand the thought of A&M not being at their level.

Overall it's probably us, maybe tceh. Most people forget baylor even exists. But the post about t.u. being the most loved and hated is pretty dead on.

I'm from central texas and admittedly don't know any tehc tards or Baylor fans but I can't believe we are the most hated school in Texas. Aggies on the whole are respectful, decent people. Visiting fans always love the atmosphere here.

I really am amazed by the replies here. I would think tu would be the most disliked school by anyone else who went to school; not so much for people who shop at wallyworld.

We're different, which makes us easy to hate. Simple as that.

It's us by a big margin. There are only two choices, us or Texas. Look at all their t-shirt fans. It ain't them.

A&M. tu, Baylor, and tceh hate us more than any other Texas school.

Tough one.

Those outside of Texas AND of the liberal persuasion tend to hate A&M and Baylor, perhaps Baylor a little more because of religion (naturally, anti-military types have a special loathing for the Ags)

Those outside Texas of a conservative bent would feel a kinship toward the Ags and the religiously inclined would naturally prefer Baylor (especially Baptists)

Inside Texas, the Ags are only loved by those who are Aggies and a few bandwagoners here or there

The overwhelming majority of Texas people like the school in Austin particularly if they've never been to college themselves (lead dog type thing)

College graduates or those with some college education are more likely to feel some degree of animosity to the school in Austin due to the attention/money/etc. lavished on the school

UTSA and UNT would provide some competition in this category, if they weren't so all-around pathetic to begin with.

a&m definitely gets more respect from college students everywhere because of our academic reputation. No public texas school compares to a&m and texas.

Sidethought - Rice is up there for me. In a SWC game after one of the rev's died the rice band formed a fire hydrant on the field and played where o where did my little dog go. Corps went off.

Who do I hate the most? Tech, I have no respect for them.

Who do Texans hate the most? A&M.

Everyone hates us and everybody knows it. But, in the words of some rapper "if they ain't hatin', you ain't doing something right".

I'm going to put weight in the pre-nup. You wouldn't buy an Aston Martin if you knew it was going to turn into a Suburban 6 months later.

It is highly arrogant to believe that A&M is hated the most. A&M is pretty much an afterthought when others mention texas schools.

If you are referring to the Big XII schools in Texas, they might all point to A&M as their least favorite of their Texas brethren. But that is because tech and baylor are merely pests to tu, and tech and baylor feel like they aren't in the same league with tu so they focus on A&M.

However, t-shirt fans only care about OU. And I have only heard respectable things coming from non-tshirt fans when I say I am an Aggie. Fans from other universities (Tech and Baylor excluded) will talk to an Aggie before looking at anyone in burnt orange. I got high fives from Sooners for wearing maroon at the Red River Shootout, I've had free food and beer from Okie Cowboys, any fan from the SEC will smile, nod, and say "**** Texas" to an Aggie.

Students from schools like Rice, TCU, North Texas, Texas State, show more attention to tu than A&M because of the multitude of tshirt fans. SMU fans show more animosity to A&M over tu, but they say it is because they preferred the rivalry between our schools than dealing with tu.

UH still hates us.

Everyone shares an equal hatred of tech tards, even tech tards...

It's A&M or Texas. Haters spew hate about anyone who is successful.
