Good game. Battle Cattle does not like the Aggie football team one iota, but credit must be given where credit is due. Battle Cattle is proud of the Longhorns and believe they have made progress in a transitional year but Tamu was undoubtably the better team tonight. Battle Cattle wishes that TAMU represent the Big XII well during bowl season; best of luck.

PS: that pass interference call was BS.

Progress - noun
1: a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage
2: growth or development; continuous improvement

tu started the year ranked #5 in the nation with one first place vote in the AP poll. They concluded the season last in the Big 12 South. They started the year 3-0 and finished by going 2-7 the rest of the way.

If that is progress -- moving toward a goal -- then the goal is obviously to scrap the football program.

I now reserve the right to call any bad year for the Ags a transitional year.

It was bad year for the sips. They were a preseason top 10 team and finished at the bottom of their conference. Calling it transitional is just putting a spin on it.

I do not think it will have any long term damage should they right the ship next year.

Love it that now the spin is that this was a transitional year - after proclaiming Gilbert the next coming after the MNC game and a top ten ranking.

Face it, the sips have no QB, no RB, no heart and crappy coaching. The run is over, and Elvis has left the building.
