The only way a team ever overlooks their most intense rivalry is if they have been beating said rival for a long stretch of time, say like 7-9 years in a row. I believe A&M isn't gonna overlook this game as most of them realize that a victory most be obtained for any small chance to be in the title hunt. They don't have a game to look forward to. These guys are Warriors and Von Miller, Tannehill, Hodges, and Gray have shown that they will win no matter what. These guys go all out.

I doubt we'll have a "letdown" game against our biggest rival during one of their worst seasons in 12-years. That being said... DO expect a dogfight to the end against a team that has nothing to lose, their bowl eligibility on the line, and would love to end our great run. Bring the long cleats just in case!!!

My fear about this game is this: we just thought we saw some bad officiating go against us in the OU and Baylor games. Anybody really think tu won't be getting a ton of beneficial calls with their bowl game riding on this?

I have a feeliong that Sherman wants to beat tu in the worst way, and he will translate that to our team. He's not yet beaten tu and this is his best chance to date.

That said, tu has talent and a good defense, and they will be playing for their bowl lives.

Not sure how much that means to them, but I expect to get tu's best shot.

This one is going to be anything but the cakewalk a lot of Aggies think it will be.

The Aggies have been a different team with Tannehill under center. Each week we have seen a little more WC Offense in the game plan. The Offense is playing a fast tempo game, and the D is playing with confidence.

Keys to the game:

Put pressure on Gilbert
Protect the ball
Rush the ball early to set up the passing game

This team has a HUGE burning desire to beat tu and will be victorius. No let downs as Cyrus adds another benjamin to his stash.

Von Miller and the other seniors, along with other team leaders will not allow the team to be down for this game. I have faith in the unified chemistry of this team and more importantly, they have faith in this team.

They were UP for the last game at Kyle Field and they will be UP for the last regular season game in Austin against the t'sips.

Against Tannehill, Fuller, Gray and Company along with the Wrecking Crew 2.0, look for the horns to fold like a dime store card table.

Why we win on Thursday

First of all I know this is a rivalry game and on any given Saturday almost any team can win so I know it won't be easy especially on the road. However, I believe the Aggies win for the following reasons.

1) A&M coaching > tu coaching. Excellent gameplanning in most games and awesome adjustments when the gameplan isn't working.

2)A&M leadership > tu leadership on both sides of the ball. I don't see anyone on either side of the ball for the Horns that is a strong leader. The tu offense has no confidence. On the other hand the Aggies have several leaders on both sides of the ball. Miller, Hunter, Tannehill, Gray

3) A&M skill positions > tu skill positions. Almost man for man the Aggies skill positions are outperforming their tu counterparts. Receivers, runners and especially QB. Cyrus Gray has been a beast. Fuller has been double teamed so other receivers have stepped up. Tannehill hasn't been spectacular in every game but he is making better decisions and limited turnovers. tu doesn't have a go to runner or receiver.

Factor in improved OL play and I believe that the Aggies win by at least 10 points.

I can only come up with 1 reason we go over there and win... it's because they beat our asses 2 years ago and the team should be seeking revenge. Other than the seniors no one on this team has sniffed Texas jock... so I am running under the assumption of no let down.

On the other hand... in comes Texas... loaded with talent and a chance to end the season taking down their rival on natioal TV...

This one is a toss up, but I am leaning with Holden.
