If you're trying to draw them offsides why not line up in the jumbo under center to threaten with the qb sneak? Being in the shotgun made it pretty clear they were likely just going to take the penalty and punt

Going for it would have been very risky... Texas already stuffed them on 3rd... If they failed to convert, Texas gets great field position...

Might as well waste a play and try to draw them offside...

They pinned them at the 10, which isn't bad...

Also, their defense has played pretty well, so it's not like they can't stop Texas...

They still need to step up and stop them though.
