I was among those in the first row of the third deck, and while I did not sit, I don't blame those who did. It's easy to understand when the team you are supposed to be standing in support of is being both outcoached and outplayed.

Besides, Sherman's sure as hell not gunna look in the stands to find a player to help the team. He won't even look down the depth chart.

I sat down. I was tired. Did the on field performance really warrant everyone standing? But I also believe we need to pump artificial sound into games...like music that gets the student section crunk. Flame me if you want...but after sitting in the ok state student section, I believe that.

I was in 315 (west side) and didn't see that.

Too soft a message after TEN years...Beside, dude, I thought we agreed we were all boycotting the Tech game.

I attended every home game for four years, and never sat down (with the exception of when the band made us for several minutes before halftime to study drill).

You stand because you support your team, not because they're doing well. You think you're tired? I bet the players are too. The tradition of standing has nothing to do with performance on the field. It has a lot to do with the Aggie's support of their team win, lose, or tie.

If 'crunk' never shows its face in Kyle, I'll be happy. I was absolutely shocked by the amount of students who left the game early; this was my first Aggie loss at Kyle to not sit with the band. I never realized that students actually leave early...a huge amount just after halftime and in the third quarter! I was in the Zone and stayed until the clock hit 0, just like I have for every homegame since '06. I don't like what I see out there, but I will be in the stands for my team, no matter what. It must be demotivating to see people emptying the stands with an hour left in the game!

"crunk" used to be created in the stands by doing yells and having the band play. If the play on the field sucked, you were at least entertained by yelling or listening to the band. Now, all you do is get your left ear blown out by the damn scoreboard and we do a yell about once a quarter. You used to stay because there was a sense that we were all in it together. Now it feels like a pro football game. You know what happens in the pros? People leave in the 3rd quarter when their team is getting killed.

Students should organize a protest. They should stand in total silence for the entire first half of the next home game. Just stand there and do nothing.

Stupid, whining, cry babies - quit ragging on the student section. There is very little to get excited about. Moronic AD, Buffoon of a coach, and a QB that can't throw feed to starving birds.

Students were also sitting at the Arky game last week. The student section isn't what it once was.

Students across the upper rows of third deck were sitting from kickoff on. Many couldn't be bothered to get up to even sing the War Hymn. 2nd deck had a number of rows in the upper rows sitting throughout the second half.

I don't get it. You have 4 years to participate in something truly unique and special - the 12th Man. So what if it's hot? So what if the team is terrible? Why bother coming to the game if you're not going to participate?

Exactly. We whine so much about stupid stuff (ESPN, uniforms, sitting/standing, hats on/off, TV coverage, etc), BB and Shemy know they have no job security issues to worry about.

I left when it got to 30-3. Season ticket holder since 1992. I've had enough.

Time to go do other things on Saturdays now. Aggie football does not define me, nor is it worth my time when it's this bad.
