Pearland has a TEAM. The other three...not so much...Eagle Pass is scrappy but not near the talent level of Pearland.

Yeah, Pearland just ran Colorado outta the park. That pitcher they have is an ace.

Anyone else notice how many of the fans of El Paso LL (the kids wear burnt orange unis), show up in their Wal-Mart tu gear rather than anything having to do with El Paso? Sheesh, give your whorn shirts a rest every now and then...

I figured it wasn't Plano since we don't play little league in the metroplex.

Moto, they are from Eagle Pass not El Paso. This team is scrappy but don't underestimate them. This team reminds me alot of this years state high school champions of 5A Corpus Christi Carrol. They played Klien in the state title game and Klien had superior talent, someone forgot tell Carrol that.

It could happen again, regardless this team deserves to be there.

Corpus always has good baseball.

Moto, Eagle Pass is my proud hometown and even though our colors are burnt orange they are just as likely to be Eagle Pass Eagles t shirts as Horns shirts...our people travel well and I am damn proud of these kids and our traveling group of burnt orange wearing fans...

On a side note; Did anyone else notice that Colorado's team had more Mexican kids than Pearland's?

Not many Hispanics play baseball in Pland...atleast they didn't in the 90s when I was playing there.

Actually lots of hispanics played little league in Pearland. They just quit before high school baseball started. We still had several on the high school team in the late 90's.

The Pearland team looked good when I watched them win the Texas East title in Tyler a few weeks ago. Solid team all around. They beat a damn good First Colony National team (that won Texas East as 11's) to make it out of sectionals.

Kamikaze - you're right...I prob didn't play 7 seasons (to Sen. Major) at the dad's club.

I'd say by a lot you're equating Hispanic representation at what...20%? Maybe? I'd guess that of my 7 teams, I prolly had hispanic guys on 3 of em...and that's one dude.

Yea....there were prolly a 3-4 on each team that I remember. The best pitcher/player in my age group was hispanic but like I said before he didn't play in high school. I graduated in 1999.
