Why don't some of you wizards photoshop some images of what a new or refurbished Kyle Field should look like. Frankly, I'd like a brand new stadium, but love the old one - faults and all. I remember many a drunk night sneaking in and playing on the artificial turk. Hard to believe how long ago that was (late 80s).

So I leave it to you to use your imagination and post some things worth looking at. Let's see em!

This is the best I can do (don't have photoshop with me).

We need some shade at Kyle Field... Sep and Oct home games can be brutal with the heat and sun!!

I can't find the picture but there's one out there where somebody photoshopped extra decks on the east/west side so there were 6 decks.

this is a horrible photoshop but i did it in like 2 secs...i think it would be cool to turn it into a bowl but LEAVE the student section as is

Love that 2020 one by DisTex. I would LOVE to see Kyle become a bowl with large screens in each corner of the stadium.

Unfortunately, this won't happen anywhere close to 2020 unless we start winning big time.

Also, there is absolutely no need for an entirely new stadium. Kyle will be upgradeable for many years to come...

2 years sounds a little ambitious to me. Isn't the MSC renovation scheduled for like 3 or 4 years?

They would likely phase the project which would result in a longer construction timeline and likely more cost.

I'd think we'd want something similar in scope to Jerryworld, scaled back for the college scene.

The last article I saw mentioned a goal of 115,000 seating capacity. This would make it slightly larger than Michigan I believe which is the largest in the country. This is all based on memory so I could be off a little.

This idea is sexy, but think of it this way: it blocks almost all of the wind. When it gets 100 degrees in the peak of September, this thing would turn into an oven FAST.
