Why not go for $85. Pretty much the cost of a seat at Kyle?

I wasn't as turned off by the $300 as I was by the $85. The fact that you have to pay $85 for such unbelieveably bad seats is shocking to me. My wife and I would go to this game, and we'd really only be able to afford the $85 seats due to our budget....but those seats are so bad and so far away that there's really no point to us going. I just can't justify it when $170 (plus another $40 for parking) will pay for dinner and drinks at just about any nice restaurant here in Austin.

as my father would say, not no, but HELL NO. I have voiced my opinion to $bill. Bet I don't hear back.

There are some of us that are loyal to Aggie Football. Our loyalty does not rely on the number of wins. I guess you feel different.

You're right. I am not going to let some guy sitting in an office on A&M's campus just take whatever he feels like taking out of the back of my pocket. He just sits there and thinks to himself...."Hey, these people show up no matter how bad our teams sucks. They love A&M. If they will pay $1,000, then they will pay $1,500. If they will pay $2,000, then they will pay $4,000. They will pay anything that I want them to pay because they like A&M so much." At some point, that **** has to stop. I am a season ticket holder and my whole family (brother, sister, parents, grandparents, uncle) went to A&M and donate, but at some point, you have to be reasonable about it. Save the "loyal A&M fan" bull**** for yourself. It's nothing about that.

Yes! My wife and I will be there to support our Fightin Texas Aggie football team.
I beleive we need an attitude that we support our team "win or lose" if we ever expect to be successful on the field again.
There is an attitude that has developed that "I only support them if I think they are going to win" in my opinion and that is not healthy for rebuilding a program.

When Jerry Jones gets the head out of his ass and sees the economy is in a recession and charges 1/5th of the price. Then yeah.

If you call this a traveling game you are forgetting the folks that live in the DFW area. I think it's already been said on this thread, but there are some DFW Ags that don't have season tickets but would like to see the Ags play. They'll probably throw down the $125 for a seat (maybe even the extra $175 donation for club seats) to see the team play in the new stadium without having to travel.

This one is my road trip for this year. My two old room mates and I have been traveling around to all the Big 12 stadiums since inception. Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Miami, VT, Clemson have gotten in the way of seeing them all, but we will get to them eventually. Looking forward to this game. We will be at the $125 level only.

Unfortunately, the wives want to come along on this one.

Yes we are going! This is a great stadium and The Aggies are playing! Now we are only buying the $85 tickets and driving in to the game from about an hour out. I figure that the video screen will be big enough to see from our nosebleed section. I can understand not going with the cost of hotels but I guess my Ol'Army attitude won't let me quit going because we happen to be in a slump.
