Please list just a few. Had some knuckleheads for sure but thugs. Thanks for the drama. FAIL.
How about Anthony Williams, Guy Broom (great and smart guy, but wind him up and watch him go), Darren Lewis and the list could go on. There was plenty o' stuff covered up and "made good" back in the day in BCS by the powers that be. It got a little more out of hand the first few years that RC was in charge as the players were not afraid of his as they were of Jackie, and believe you me they were afraid of Jackie.

I thought Jackie has said in the past that he was going to write a "tell all" type of book once he retired. He's eluded to the fact that there are all sorts of things that went on surrounding the blow up at A&M that most people aren't privy to. Lots of unknown culprits and players that had a hand in things.
Exactly above is what was told to me, with a few details, by a former Board of Regents member that was around during that time. He was a staunch Jackie supporter and came on the board right after Jackie left (but he knew he was going on). Sadly he is deceased now, but the last time I talked to him (he died fairly suddenly) he went on and on about how a small group of people, influentual Ag's, BOR memebers and Bill Mobley, just out right hung Jackie out to dry.
If you all remember a scandal in the late 80's about book stores and other things on Campus involving some BOR members and other influential Ag's, it was some of these same folks that did not really want Jackie around, as his popularity and power did not sit well with them. Jackie also "banished" a couple of big cigars due to their out of control recruiting antics and that did not sit well with them.
Jackie was never pure as the driven snow, but I can assure you that if the program was going to cheat he would do it intelligently and discreetly. Big money Ag's that had grown up kissing on first downs reveled in their vicarious success and hurt the program more than helped it.
