ok lets see....Jackie cuts the balls off a bull for motivation to beat TU... then hangs a freshly severed hog head from the goal posts to motivate team for Arkansas game. Two wins.

Maybe he can eat a worm before the game. Maybe one of those gummy worms, that ought to do the trick. They could all pass out gummy worms and eat them before the game. And then at half time, gummy bears to make them feel better.

I'd pull out a flame thrower and let them know that if they don't play to their potential...they'll be the experiment next time.

I read about Mack's "tactics" over in Austin every week. NOTHING is more cliche than burying the game ball from the prior game...
This is a better science experiment and would get the point across a whole lot clearer.

There are stories about this all the time. Mack Brown had a funeral for the game ball after the tech game. Urban Meyer used the same "weak link" analogy Fran used a few years ago. Pete Carroll's always doing off the wall stuff. And let's not get started on the prevalence of Leach's pirate schtick.
This is a stupid thing to get worked up about. What's next, are we gonna whine about his shoes being too white on the sideline?
Also, this wasn't a pre-game speech, and wasn't meant to be motivational. It was at practice, and was meant to be a lesson. We don't need, "LET'S GO KILL SOME MOTHERF*&%&^%&" speeches every day of the week. That would get old in a HURRY.
