i know most high schools take college songs and change them up a bit. what was your school's song? was it a take off or was it an original? what schools use the war hymn? just curious..

my school used a not so great rendition of USC's Fight On. I know Arlington uses an original tune.

At Garland the first song is the tOSU song then our actual fight song is Rice/some other ivy league I think, only slightly modified.

Pearsall Mavericks. We played the Aggie War Hymn. Our team had the t-sip steer head on the helmet. Every time we played the war hymn everyone in the stands waved that sinful hook 'em sign in time with the music. I was so happy to get to Aggieland and play the war hymn with the right atmosphere!

Well our fight song I think is original. But if we wanted to really pump the crowd up we played our rendition of the ending to Russian Christmas Music. We played it faster/louder and with little to no regard for "musicality". We called it Paw Power.
