This was written for people with WinXP
1. Download both files to "C:\WINDOWS\system32"
2. Click Start-->All Programs--->Accessories-->Command Prompt
3. Command prompt should load with "C:\WINDOWS\system32>"
3a. If it does not type "C:\" then "cd C:\WINDOWS\system32"
4. Type "Regsvr32 CoreAVCDecoder.ax" You should get a notification saying "DllRegisterServer in CoreAVCDecoder.ax succeeded"
5. Type "Regsvr32 CoreAAC.ax" You should get a notification saying "DllRegisterServer in CoreAAC.ax succeeded"
6. Good luck if you did this right you should see improvement watching this file using VLC.

I need this! I settled in to watch it on my DVR tonight (after driving back home to DFW from the game), and my freakin DirecTV DVR jacked up the recording (4 hours of a gray screen). Uugh.

One of you folks that is smart like I was 10 years ago please help us out -- and fast.

Sorry I took to long to reply (I don't really visit the Zoo anymore).

Also sorry to report that I'm no longer living in College Station (graduated), therefore I no longer have access to the Motorola cable box I used previously to pass the HD version of the game to my PC.

I have a DirecTv HD-DVR and have not yet been able to figure out how to pull HD video from it.

The only way I could see this even becoming possible would be if someone in Houston has the HD version of the game on their Comcast cable box and would allow me access to it.


Again, sorry guys I know how much you looked forward to this and I honestly did take this into consideration when I was deciding between cable and satellite.
