Came across this and never have seen footage of the actual landings at point du hoc. Pretty cool video though I'm sure some of you have seen it before

I believe General Rudder was on lca 888, and his was the first craft to hit the beach. In the video, the presenter points out his craft under fire on approach. Just amazing

Really nice breakdown of what was occurring. Very nicely done hilighting the various LCA's and people, making it much easier to follow.
