Anyone a member of a history book club in your area? I'm semi retired and would like to get together with a group that has a passion for history. Never done anything like this. I prefer to have live meetings and not virtual. I'm in the North Dallas area.

No, but this is something that Facebook or MeetUp might actually be useful for. I do belong to a couple of local history Facebook groups, which have helped me find some events, but no book clubs yet. Maybe I'll talk to some friends about starting one...

If you're interested in the Civil War, most cities have a local Civil War Roundtable. While not a book club per se, it could help scratch some of that itch.
