They stole several clips from Lawrence of Arabia for this video. I'm curious what the other movie or movies are.

The big what if, what if Ottoman Empire actually sided with the allies. Both sides were in bidding war. Does that change anything in the Middle East. You surely don't get these countries created post WW1

Theodor Herzl was the leader of the Zionist Movement from 1897-1904

he had several meetings with the Pasha of the Ottoman Empire. you can read about how crazy Constantinople was back then.

they were called the "sick man of Europe" but refused to allow a Jewish state to be given any political rights, the plan was that world Jewry would pay back Turkey's debts but the Pasha eventually refused

they did allow Jews to enter their territory but had to become Ottoman citizens.
