As a teenager I volunteered at the Museum of the Cape Fear in Fayetteville, NC and got to see some of their Fayetteville Rifles. The variety of Confederate weapons was always interesting, but the Richmonds and the Fayettevilles were the only ones that seemed consistently well-made.
