Yeah very cool, thanks for posting. I suppose most of them came here with little or nothing but notice the clothing they had on for their arrival. All decked out in their finest.

I noticed the same thing. They all wore what looked to be their traditional folk garb. What a huge moment for all of them starting over in a completely new place. Must have been exciting and terrifying at the same time.

Pretty cool to see all the traditional dress, back then you could tell where someone was from (generally) before they even opened their mouths. Now it's t-shirts, jeans & athletic shoes or flip flops the world over.
