It would have made sense with earlier research that the concussion from the blast would have killed the crew and broken the pipe (which they say broke around the time of the sinking) sinking the sub. However the same article says experts said the crew would have survived the concussion and the leak would have been small enough to put something in it to stop the flow of water. If true is it possible the crew did not hear the influx of water and ran out of oxygen?
