I'm digging your recent posts on Bismarck,Hood, and Prinz Eugen.
Towards the end this video there's footage of HMS Hood blowing up filmed from Prinz Eugen
And brief interview with a survivor
Look at the fate of the the battelcruisers HMS Indefatigable, Queen Mary, and Invincible. All blown up at Jutland in almost identical circumstances of the Hood. Also so rather poignant pictures of all three.
And Arizona.... shells detonating magazines are bad juju.
I'm not making light of death but I'll say I'd rather go by a shell penetration of the ship's magazine rather than what happened to most of the victims of the Indianapolis.Rabid Cougar said:
