All great additions.

Good additions, pb.

The 50th Anniversary angle was one of the main reason I jumped on it. I was a Zip in the Band on the 100th Anniversary, so I pay attention to those.

Got to visit with Gottlich, Bryant, and Schwensen's daughter last night at the Muster in San Antonio. All are still alive and well.

Good bull! I wonder if the Association, or Cushing, has digitized copies of all the old Aggielands/Longhorns. That would be an awesome resource for future generations. And if they don't have it, I wouldn't mind contributing to funding such a project, and I'm sure most of you wouldn't mind either.

I'd seen pictures of Guion Hall from the outside and was already mourning the day they tore it down. After seeing the inside, I want to find the guy responsible for tearing it down and dig up his grave.

A&M, where the past is loved...and bulldozed.

Bigtruck, I believe most records at the library have been digitized. My class 49 put up the money!

BigJim, that's awesome. I know I've seen some old Fish Drill Team pictures on Cushing's flickr account, which I enjoyed. Thanks for being a part of that.

Not sure if you mean the A&M Centennial or the Aggie Band Centennial. If Aggie Band Centennial, then you and I were in the band together.

Either way, this might be of interest to you. That yearbook contains a picture of fish E. V. Adams, who later became the band director from 1946-73, upon the recommendation of Col. Richard J. Dunn (pictured above). Check out the page for Company C Infantry.

Very cool pictures. I have this yearbook but haven't opened it in quite a while. Thanks for posting.

A&M Centennial, (check the user name) though I did march in the 100th anniversary BQ Down Band.
