So I chained my MTB to my sons bike and some how or another the key went missing. What are the best options here to free the bikes? Take them to fire station? Buy a chain cutter from home Depot?

Check and see if Lock Picking Lawyer has reviewed the lock. Generally bike locks are not very secure.
