Never heard of this. Highly intrigued. Looks like a Whoop without the sub? If so, they are going to pummel those guys.

The only con I'm seeing with my brief research is that you are tracking workouts elsewhere. IOW, I'm currently using my Garmin watch to do all of this plus track workouts so this would replace that but then I would need to track workouts elsewhere. The Hume would track the activity through what they call Strain:
Quote:

Strain Definition: A measurable instance of metabolic stress that draws from your daily capacity. The Hume Band tracks two categories of strain: Positive Strain: Beneficial stress that drives adaptation, primarily exercise and physical activity.

The system distinguishes different strain types: muscular (strength training), cardiovascular (aerobic activity), and mental (cognitive demands).

Negative Strain: Non-beneficial stress that depletes capacity without adaptive benefit, primarily psychological stress. The band detects stress by identifying elevated heart rate and compressed HRV in the absence of physical movement.

I dug into this a few weeks ago when it showed up as a YouTube ad. From various sources it seems not quite ready for prime time as far as accuracy goes. It is something I plan to check back on as they upgrade it.
