***Disregard. I just saw that it's sold out.***

Is anyone planning on doing Hyrox in Houston in March?

I did some preliminary testing this morning at the track and, holy cow, it was harder than I anticipated.

To break 1:30 solo is more challenging than you would think. Gotta be well rounded. Love me some Hyrox.

Nope. Wanted to but it was sold out by the time I tried.

I will be there on the Saturday. I can do all the stations pretty well, I just suck at running which is annoying because it is a race and running is most of it. I'm mostly just trying to beat my time last year.

The convention center A/C had trouble keeping up last year and it ended up getting fairly warm inside with all the people in there working hard.

My coach is a top women's 40+ competitor the last few years, so we get pretty good training programming at the gym. How big are you? I find most of the stations to be pretty easy though I am at a bit of a disadvantage myself as the only station that favors small and light is the burpee broad jumps.

Pretty much everything else favors a bigger taller athlete from the wall balls to the carry stations to the sleds and rowers and ski machines. At 5'9" and 158, pushing and pulling a super heavy sled takes a lot out of me. In theory I should do better at the run by being smaller but not over only 8K apparently.
