In 2022, our youngest, who was 6 at the time, decided he wanted to start running 5Ks with me. Today, 10 5Ks later, he ran a 3-minute PR of 28:54! I don't know or care where he'll go from here, but it has been awesome to watch him develop a love of running.

He is 8 now, but he was smoking grown-ups when he was 6.

Had a 64 year old smoke me a couple weeks ago in Shiner. He ran 21and change, though, so Mrsbeer progeny still has some work to do.

My daughter's first 5K in 5th grade was 37 minutes. She runs college D1 now. Should have raced her while I had a chance
