I don't use a dietitian, but the LoseIt! app has been working for me. Makes it almost too easy to track your calories and macros.
Before I was proactively tracking nutrition via the app, I was on the Peloton every day and going on 10+ mile hikes every weekend, and I wasn't losing weight. I was burning a lot of calories, yea, but I was eating them back and more.
Tracking has changed my lifestyle. Those apps help gamify it, which has worked well for me.
