How long do you want to ignore this user?
So my mom just had knee replacement surgery at age 75 and I was wanting to know if anybody had any advice on how to make recovery easier trying to navigate around the home?
She is also experiencing a lot of nausea and I'm not sure if that's reaction to the medication which I assume it is but not sure at this point .
My dad has had two new replacement surgeries, but I guess it's different with her .

Nausea immediately post op? Follow up with doctor.

*Toilet near bed.

*extra pillows to make sleeping comfortable as possible.

*bedroom upstairs? Consider moving downstairs because stairs and crutches are a challenge.

While she is on crutches, make a path around house free of potential trip hazards. Like end tables, rugs, decorations etc.

My husband is post-op 1 week age 55. He was prescribed anti nausea meds(Zofran) as the pain meds can cause nausea. As well, he has a walker to assist. His recovery is going very well and manages without the walker most of the time a week out but he is much younger than your mom.
