I have been shopping around for adjustable dumbbells for my home gym. Bowflex looks like my best option, however, looking for the best dumbbells for my money. TIA!

Have two sets of Bowflex. The ones that go 5-45 (bought used) and the ones that go up to 90 (bought new 4 years ago). Love both of them and they both have stands. Easy to adjust and don't take up much space.

I had a set of Ironmaster 5-120 lb dumbbells. I eventually ordered a whole new set of Rep dumbbells and got rid of the Ironmaster. While I had them for 10 plus years, they worked well. I had no complaints. I just wanted to transition to different weights without having to monkey around with the adjustables. I sold those weights after 10 years of use for $1100. They do hold their value well.

I was looking at these: https://www.bowflex.com/selecttech/552/100131.html?adID=DOFG2BFEED1&pk_source=google&pk_medium=cpc&gclid=CjwKCAiAuOieBhAIEiwAgjCvcn0wQMoBzx-_DgYUoM3rolAUR2SrsRqBQrEykF-VoPRMlvA_Qh4eMxoCFIEQAvD_BwE

Mainly because I'm female and I like the smaller increments. And I doubt I will ever need anything higher than a 50 Lb dumbbell. But, didn't know if there was anything else comparable.

I have the bow flex ones that go up to 52.5 pounds.

One consideration for these types of dumbbells as opposed to traditional dumbbells is they are much larger than their traditional dumbbell counterparts at the lower weights. What I mean by that is that when you are doing low weights, they are bulky and so if you were doing movements near your body, or your head, they sometimes become difficult and unwieldy..

Huge fan of my Power blocks that go up to 70. Little to no slop

I've had the polyurethane powerblocks for a few years now and like them (up to 90 lbs). I only wish I didn't previously sell the older ones I had that came with the 120lb expansion pack. I haven't used the other brands, but don't feel the need to go away from the powerblocks.

I don't have these but they consistently have great ratings:

They've been backordered for years, not sure where they're at today

I know these are more hassle Fray Fitness has these for 60% off. Might be worth it over some of these other fragile sets out there.

II've had my Noubells for about a month and I love them.

Before those I had bow flex adjustable (60 lbs each). Problems I had with those is it was enough weight for what I was looking for. Also, after a year or so I had a lot of issues turning the handle. Fixed then several times myself but eventually got frustrated enough to make a change and I'm happy so far.

I have the 90 lb Bowflex adjustable dumbbells and they are decent but I think Powerblocks are better. The grips on the Bowflex dumbbells are fairly uncomfortable if you're lifting on the heavier side. I do less dumbbell work at home than I used to do at the gym because of the lack of comfort .

If you pay attention to Woot they sometimes have Powerblocks on sale at a decent price.
