How long do you want to ignore this user?
Do any of you use supergreen supplements such as AG1? If so do you have recommendations on some that you like over others?

Wife and I have tried 3 to replace veggies in our diet.

AG1 first - taste is fine - $150/month for wife and I
2nd one - $100/month - made me want to die taste wise
3rd one - $110/month - tasted fine, wife hates it.


We switched from AG1 originally bc $150/m for greens that I'm convinced I don't even need. Came back to it bc with AG1 you don't really need a multivitamin and when you add that to the cost it's cheaper.

I have Thorne's daily greens plus on the way. I'm generally a fan of their stuff, so going to give it a try.

My thoughts as well. If you think you need veggies in your life, these supplement powders are no substitute for the real thing.

That would be the best case scenario wouldn't it? I am just looking for something to "supplement" my diet so I can get any nutrients my normal diet may miss.

are you eating vegetables and fruits through the day? if so, you're doing better than most.

I could probably google this, but do you know how many calories from greens you actually absorb? For example, a bag of frozen peas is like 280 calories ang 16g of protein. Do you think the average person actually gets 280calories from it? Likewise with broccoli and other green veggies. I'm looking to have something on hand that's bulky but without too many calories.

I do not know how many calories from green you absorb, but for protein you can absorb a fourth to a third of the amount you ate..

so the whole thing about you only absorb 20-30 grams of protein? Thats going to differ from person to person..

so bottom line: digestion/absorption differs from person to person

I could never get AG1 to mix well enough to enjoy drinking it. Did it for a couple months and stopped and never went back.
