Nasal spray for sinus pressure?

Are there any nasal sprays that specifically target sinus pressure? I have covid - presumably omicron - and the main symptom I'm having now is sinus pressure that is absolutely debilitating. No cough, no wet sneezes, no nasal stuffiness, just pressure that feels like my head is exploding. My eyes are watering continuously and my ears keep popping from the pressure. I've been taking sudafed original and Claritin, and they don't seem to make much difference. Steam helps but the effect goes away when I stop steaming.

Any suggestions? I thought a nasal spray might help but don't know if there's one that is especially effective for pressure. I'm on day 3 of these symptoms and miserable. Appreciate any replies.

You can try Afrin decongestant nasal spray a couple of times a day for only about 4 days or so. Any more than that, and you have a rebound addiction. You can partially "blunt" that rebound, and also decongest your nose, if you will also use an OTC nasal steroid, such as Flonase Sensimist. Technique is important when using these sprays - gently breathe in, look down at your toes, and aim slightly to the "outside" on either side, away from the septum dividing the two sides of the nose.
Azelastine is a nasal antihistamine which is only available by prescription (for now). It can help in addition.
Sometimes the pain and pressure just needs to work itself out, as any part of the nasal cavity that has an ACE receptor is susceptible to attack by COVID. Oral decongestants that you have to sign for "behind the counter" can help as well as NSAIDs such as ibuprofen. If things are really bad, or if you have chest symptoms, an oral steroid taper should be considered.
Good luck.

Thank you. That was an extremely helpful response. I'm currently taking behind-the-counter Sudafed and it's not helping much. I'll look at one of the sprays you suggested. Short term should be fine - I just need to get past this but don't have chronic sinus problems normally.

Thank you again!

Agree with Kool as usual.

The only thing I would add is Neilmed sinus flushes twice a day.

This is what I was going to suggest. The Neilmed flush is great. I use it almost daily.

I am going with Afrin and sinus rinse. Currently have Covid as well. This is my second time around. Luckily this time it isn't Lung Covid. This one is only based in my sinuses.

I try to use Flonase daily, but sometimes my sinuses get completely congested. Whenever I'm congested enough that I can't breathe Afrin is my go-to. I'll only use it right before bed so I can sleep. That stuff is a life-saver, but I use it sparingly.

OP here. Afrin helped a little, but it finally went away. Thank you all so much; I've bookmarked this thread for when Upsilon and Omega come around. Lots of useful info.

Neilmed in the morning changes my day, gets out all the gunk. I do Flonase every morning as well
