For those of you willing, would you mind sharing your vitamin and supplement regimen and the reason behind each, assuming you're a believer? I find a lot of misinformation on the internet and I'm trying to figure out what I realistically should be taking as a relatively healthy late 30s male. Daily multi? Something for memory & brain function? Fish oils, vitamin B, C and D? A lot of recommendations out there. Curious what this board believes in enough to take.

Thanks all!

Typical workout regimen, assuming a hot Texas morning and a 10K:

Before run: 8 oz skim milk, 1x200 mg caffeine pill, and 1x675mg beet powder, 2xRapid Rehydr8 salt/electrolyte tablets. Note: the milk provides a low GI liquid that digests slowly, hydrates, and is less likely to cause the need to go to the bathroom.

After run: 8 - 16 oz of chocolate milk (protein/recovery), 32 oz of sugar free (Stevia) electrolyte/vitamin drink (I use Key Nutrients brand), more caffeine

Daily: 4.8 g ashwagandha, 1000 mg quercetin, 200 mg CoQ10, 3.0 g moringa powder.

Zinc and Vitamin D are it for me.

I throw a pinch of sea salt in the water bladder (1.5L) on the hot days. I'm running 30-40mi/wk with 2-3 mountain summits.

Ha. I don't get the whole throw-up culture. I mean, sure, if you eat something disagreeable. But people who can't consider it a good workout unless they throw up?! Learn how to regulate better.

School me on Fish Oil....get it? School...Fish.....

But seriously, I did a short dive on it and it appears that its definitely beneficial, but I hate relying on The Google and WebMD for answers to everything.

What are the benefits that you have seen/experienced? Also, is Krill Oil the same thing? Better? Worse?

The multi-vitamin I'm taking is Smartypants.

It's got all the normal vitamins plus fish oil, CoQ10, etc for 6 gummies a day

Also taking elderberry right now that has more vitamin c and zinc.

Yes, I know. But sometimes after a hard run I really like to have a glass of pickle juice and a plate of anchovies. The anchovies are good mixed with a can of collard greens too.

I do wish some of you guys would try ashwagandha for 3 months and tell me what you think. I even stopped it for a while and felt some soreness creeping in, started again, and voila, instant recovery. I feel like I'm not making this up.
