Thought this may be interesting... Share if you desire!

List whatever pace you think is most accurate of a typical run or your general desired race pace.

Sex/Age: M/29
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 195-200
Avg Pace: 8:15-8:30

Curious is all. I know for me at this point the main thing holding my running pace back from improving dramatically is my weight.... Problem is I also like to lift heavy weights & eat/drink a lot as well.

Sex/Age: M/34
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 175
Avg Pace: I've raced every distance from the 5k to the 100k this year, so I'm not sure what you're looking for. My most recent marathon was at 6:55 pace, and the majority of my normal aerobic training runs are done around 8:00-8:30 pace.

At the beginning of 2016, I weighed about 215 pounds. I know that for me losing weight helped my running tremendously.

Avg Pace: Training is 8:30ish. Race pace for half-marathon or shorter is ~7:00. Still trying to figure out marathon/ultra pacing.

I just thought it would be interesting to see the correlation to height/weight and pace.... I realize everyone runs different distances and has different goals so won't be a perfect comparison.

Ave Pace: I've only run a single race thus far at 7:41 (half marathon in Jan) and training for Full marathon in Jan and my current training pace is between 8:00 - 8:30 depending on temperature, humidity, and their affect on my HR.

Hoping for a 6:50ish marathon pace in a couple of weeks.

I started running more regularly about 4 years ago and have since lost and kept off about 35 lbs. My eating habits are still pretty poor but I can out run them at this point. Going to have to get more disciplined if I ever get off the mileage train.

9+ on trail runs. I'm genuinely not in any hurry when running trails. I purposely slow down. Just want to take in the glory of creation.

I eat terrible and love beer.

Y'all are young and skinny, even those calling yourselves "fat".

Sex/Age: M/56
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 210
Avg Pace: 8:30-9:00 for 5k-10k races - 10:00 for workouts. I'm doing a HM this weekend and am shooting for a 2:15, which is a 10:20 pace.

"Fat" was tongue in cheek, but I am about 20 lbs over what I'd consider my ideal racing weight. I just ran a 100 mile 2 weeks ago, and all I've done since is eat terrible and drink beer. I feel fat.

We have some fast people here... My longer term goal is to get half marathon distance or longer to a 7:15 - 7:30 pace but as I said in my OP I probably need to get back to ~180lb or lower or so to maintain that pace for the longer distances.

When you get to my age group, the female winner is often faster than the male winner. But you got a long ways to go.

Was lurking but decided to post just to make you feel better

Sex/Age: F/40
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 140 +/- 3 on any given day
Avg Pace: After taking the summer off, I'm lucky if I can stay under 11 min/mile. Prior to the hiatus, I was around 10-11 for the first 3-ish miles, 11-12 for any miles beyond that. It has to be REALLY cold for me to run under 10, and I can't sustain it for more than a mile or two.

I am not a runner (obviously), and have no burning desire to improve my pace. You are Speedy Gonzales compared to me!

Avg. Pace: <8 min.

I'm not a runner, but every once in a while I'll run with my daughter who is on the cross country team. Last time I ran, I ran a mile in the 7 minute range. I lift primarily and do no cardio whatsoever.
