No joke. Mix grape juice with gelatin. Google it. It sounds bizarre but worked for me.

I started jogging again with the (slightly) lower temps and my feet are angry. Dr Scholl's inserts in my work and dog walk shoes, stretch with theraband, ice, aleve and getting better.

Fitness in the early 50s is so fun!

Although this is much better than lumbar back pain I had 10 years ago when I was jogging a good bit and not lifting. Lifting has really helped eliminate that completely.

I was training for a 5k last year, PF got so bad I gave up. In my physical my doc recommended these insoles along with the typical PF exercises/ stretching. They really helped, I wear them in all my shoes now. I just did my first 5k and came in second in my age group. Was pretty excited about that. You can buy them on Amazon as well.

I had it off and on for years. What worked for me to stop re-inflaming it was 1) wear one of those boots to keep your foot extended while sleeping (so you don't re-injure it in the morning), and 2) get a foot doctor to give it a cortisone shot. 10 seconds of pain for relief is worth it.
