I'll have a Precor elliptical, treadmill, and gym (weights) on it.

Agree these are best bang for the buck but if you have some money to spend you can do better

We had the interlocking rubber tiles put down. Not bad, we have a power rack and treadmill on it. I kinda wish we had done the rolled mat instead though

Those are horse stall mats, no? Says "specifically made for the equine industry"

Says they were designed for....

Dimensions look indentical to what you can get at TSC. They look to be a little more polished/nicer and cost about $55 a piece compared to $40.

Money's not really an issue. The gym will be on a second floor. I'm only using the treadmill for walking. When I run (not supposed to anymore), it's outside.

Since my wife doesn't really care what I do in the gym, I was wondering if I couldn't get something in maroon with an A&M logo in the middle

Horsestall mats? We are installing a gym and have the same question.

We have the stall mats from TSC under squat rack and some smaller rubber ones for barbells, Bowflex, and dumbell rack. One bad thing about the stall mats are the small bits (like crumbs) that come off.
