I lucked out and was gifted an old power rack, bench and weight tree from my father-in-law.. I picked up a bar, some bumpers and a wall-mounted dip station from Rogue and rubber mats from Tractor Supply. It's nothing special, but I am able to do just about everything that I want to.

Very nice. Even a TV to not miss any Aggie sports while working out. Jealous.

I hate that my life is so busy I cannot go to a gym, but I've been paying dues to gyms for years now and going almost never, as our childrent keep us so tied up.
This is my life as well right now --- too busy chasing kids to and fro and just cannot make it to the gym enough to warrant spending the money on a monthly membership. What did you wind up going with? I seriously need to add a home gym as my weight is creeping up and I recently got a high cholesterol and high triglycerides report from my doctor.

Sorry. I got a Rogue R3 and whatever the basic amount of weight in barbells. I already had dumbells. Also got an attachment called a Matador for dips. I got an adjustable bench from Power something or other. And a jump rope.

Going to get some wooden boxes but my budget is done for now.

My son, a twelve year old, is going to work out with me.

Speaking of which, I have one that I started on that I'd rather get rid of than put back up in the attic. I brought it back down for my daughter to use two years ago that she used maybe 10 times. It is an unfancy rack with pins for the lift off point and smallish spotter arms. They saved my butt plenty of times when I was first started out. It also has a pull down, floor row, curl pad and leg lift attachment to go with the adjustable bench.

If your in the New Braunfels area, and are interested, I'll let it go stupid cheap.

Sorry, no weights or barbells. I need those for sleds, yoke bar and farmers carry.

We have a power rack with bench, box squat pedestal, detachable dip handles, and a Texas bar and 310 in plates.
A standard curl and straight bar with another 300ish.
Dumbell rack in closet with 5-50
A Bowflex

nice setup but i wouldn't trust myself in a room that nice.

Neither would I, but all the dogs on the walls WOULD guilt me into an extra rep or two!

We actually put a second stall mat down to cover more floor.

All of the dogs on that back wall are in heaven.

I'm sorry for your loss. Those are GREAT pics. I love beagles.

Speaking of garage gyms, it's freaking cold in the mornings these days up in Oklahoma (I know, not the coldest place but colder than most of Texas) and the bar is like an icicle. Benched wearing my ski gloves this morning lol
