How long do you want to ignore this user?
I just got a new pair of running shoes (Brooks Ghost 6) and my feet have been going numb when I run. I have run 3 times (2+miles each time) and had the problem each time. My shoe is the newest form of my old shoe, and I did not have this problem. I've tried not tying my shoes as tight but that hasn't really helped.

Any thoughts?

You could try parallel lacing like in this article. I'm not a runner, but have a problem with numb feet while roller skating. This lacing technique helped me.

A friend goes numb while running and the dr diagnosed him with compartment syndrome. Your telling me it could just be the shoe? If I were you I'd try another shoe, if i still became numb id see a dr.

Lydiard lacing.

Try the window lacing system. You basically skip a eye-lit to take some pressure off of the instep of your foot where there are some nerves to can get irritated and trigger your foot to fall asleep.

See, this is why you should run barefoot.

Same here. I relaced and it helped with numbness on the top of my foot after long runs.
