How long do you want to ignore this user?
Just started the Insanity program and I find myself having to stop frequently to catch my breath. I sometimes have to sit out about 1/3 of each rotation. I am still breathing pretty hard 5 minutes after I finished my work out. I am fairly overweight and trying to drop some pounds. This is only day two so I have only done the fit test and the Pylometric Cardio Circuit. Has anyone ever done this program that was in a similar situation as myself? Just making sure I am not being too much of a pansey.

Here is a great thread on the subject. I read through most of it before starting Insanity. Lots of folks on here with info and motivation.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. One major drawback to doing any P90X/Insanity video workout is that you do not have anyone to correct your bad technique or help you get the most from the workout.

That and anyone who promotes themselves using only an initial for their last name obviously is embarassed by their performance and don't want to bring shame to their family name for generations to come.

I wouldn't worry too much about having to take breaks. When I first did the plyometric cardio workout, I could barely do any of the suicide ski abs or whatever those things are called. Heck, I am on week 3 and I still end up laying in my own sweat when my legs give out on those things.
