How long do you want to ignore this user?
Hello,

I understand that this is the fitness board, but I figure that yall might be into weighing and recording food and therefore probably the best people to ask on TexAgs.

I am interested to know the weight of 1 cup of flour (or particularly Bisquick) in grams. Grams are way more accurate than pounds, so its best in grams.

I want to make pancakes, I have made them several times, but my conversion from cups to mL tends to leave my pancakes tasting like my baking mixture powder and not so much like pancakes. I suspect that I am using too much Bisquick, but need someone to check how much it weighs. As I am not in the US, I do not have access to US customary things, like cups and pounds and whatnot.

I asked my mom back in the US to do this for me, bless her heart, she put wax paper and then Bisquick on her bathroom scale and told me what it said. I could use a little more precision, from a kitchen scale in grams, which again is why Im asking health nuts.

Thanks for any help

You are going to get a huge range of answers from even the most accurate scale.

Moisture penetration, settling, grain size will all factor here if you are looking for an answer +/- 1g.

If you are that interested in such accuracy like bakers have then don't use volumetric scales.

On the GM website it would have you use 105g for 1C of mix.
