At the last fair I attended got a chance to check out some CWX tights. Specifically these http://cw-x.com/ExploreProducts.aspx?gender=mens&product=tights&by=support&sub=knee. Anyone have any first hand experience with any running tights with knee support? I have horrible knees (wear two braces to run, wear one on the left 24x7 even to sleep). And now that I'll be training in really cold weather I would prefer not to wear my braces under my tights.

Thanks,

I feel it might be time for you to pick a different sport,

I'm 2 weeks from my 3rd marathon so it's a little late for that. I think I'm going to run these knees to the ground then get a new set. Besides if it's not running it's soccer and cycling so no matter what, my knees are paying for it.

cwx tights are not going to be a substitute for a knee brace if your knees are really that bad.

those tights have the bands that basically "mimic" your IT band. I've always been skeptical anyway.

Yeah, that's my thought on them too, but would like to know how much support your knees really feel. I know there is no substitute for the brace, but when you're running long miles that brace is all over the place, would love to have something with some support where you could forgo the brace for at least one run.
