Okay, today starts a whole new world for me. Today is the day I begin the P90X transformation. And I figure that I need to be held accountable in some way or another so I decided to chronicle my progress on this thread throughout the next 90 days.

Below is my picture as of yesterday. I am 6'4", 235 lbs. I wear a size 36 pants and haven't worked out since my car wreck in Oct of 08. This is going to be tough but I know I can do this. I will update daily and provide 30, 60 and 90 day pictures. I do have to say that the thing that sucks the most about this is the fact that Cracker Barrel opened today! Oh well, maybe on a splurge day I can stop by there!

Please don't laugh at my pics. LOL.

Good luck, work REALLY hard, and most importantly do NOT quit. Do not say eh I will do it liter. It is about life-style change and not a workout. Cheers!

i definitely won't quit. Especially after making this thread. I want everyone on here to see that its not a fluke and can really be done by anyone. As long as I stick to the diet and work my butt off, it WILL work. I went to GNC and got my multivitamin and protein mix. Started this morning off with a sausage muffin and some juice.

I was going to post pics when I started insanity, but didn't know what the responses would be like...I forgot this isn't the general board.

GOOD LUCK and don't hurt yourself.

Speaking of which, I started insanity again a couple of days ago. I had hurt my back and was out of commission for a couple of weeks.

But, you're a brave sole to post pics in your undee's.

Man, that first workout was a BIIIIIOOOOTTTTCCCCHHHH. But I did it. I am sore today, but a good sore. I think the protein shake afterwards really helped. I wasnt able to keep up, but I did as much as I could. The diet went well yesterday as well. Onto day two!

Wow. The wheels started to get a little wobbly on this thread by those last couple posts...

Good luck on the routine. You're right, it is 75% diet. You can do each and every of of the 90 workouts, but if you're not putting the right stuff in your body, you definitely won't see the results you want.

When I went through p90, I had to mute the dude by the 4th day. Hopefully you can find his attempts and humor more tolerable!

(I also have to agree on the basketball shorts for future pictures...)

UPDATE: I had a minor set back on Wednesday. When I was in the car accident back in Oct of 08, I broke my wrist in 3 places. Well, apparently it did not heal all of the way. I thought it was just sore on Wednesday morning from doing the push ups and all, but I decided to have it checked out. Looks like a stress fracture from it being too weak and not healing correctly. I will be starting the P90X again on Monday, but with less strain on my left wrist. Hopefully I dont end up looking like the guy from Lady in the Water!

Sorry to hear about the wrist. But don't let that keep you from doing the workouts. Even if you have to sit out a few exercises, it is still better to attempt what you can than to sit on the couch. You would even be better off just watching the p90 dvds to get a feel for the exercises so that you can move through them more quickly when you get back to 100% (but that would get very boring though).

I had to stop my workout Saturday about 5 times because I had the cable guy out at my place. However, that was the only time I could do it. I am so glad I did because I was still able to push myself hard enough to break a sweat and be sore for Monday. Keep it up!
