I just found out why all the classic rides have been sitting outside Sterling McCall's Old Car Museum in Warrenton(between Brenham and La Grange) the past couple of days.

They're auctioning off around 150 classic rides Sat, June 23 at that location.

Gotta love the '58 De Soto! There was something about 1958 that resulted in several really cool cars coming out at the same time. Love the big-ass fins & chrome.

I drove by again just now. The split window vette is sitting right by the highway. The DeSoto isn't sitting far away. They were unloading a VERY nice generation 2 mustang, red with black all over the sides. I don't think it was a mach 1, but it must have been a special edition.
