I just passed 217K on my 2014 3.5L ecoboost and expect to drive it another 25K but I know that mileage isn't typical. I'll be retiring in 2027 and looking to travel more including towing a small bumper-pull trailer (20-22 ft range).

I'll probably go with another F150, but considering the Coyote V8 based on what I've read about durability. I'm open to other options though. I'd like to get the best balance of durability, mileage (20+ Hwy mpg), handling, and creature comforts. I don't think I'll be towing anything so big to justify the cost and lower mileage for a heavy duty model. 4x4 is desirable.

I know there are a lot of posters on this forum that watch the truck market more than I do, so I figured I'd get some good input. I also think the Ford - Chevy - Ram - Toyota debate may be fun to watch. However, from what I've read and know from friends' anecdotes, I'm not sure a Ram or Toyota are in my future due to lower average mpg.
